He did it!

After failed attempts at potty training I finally went for the motivational approach. I told Job that if he went Poo poos 10 times in the potty that he could get a prize. We went to Target and he chose a basketball hoop. So for the last 2 weeks he has been diaper free and doing great, working up to his "poo poo present". We had 2 accidents, no big deal.
I made him a chart that hung on the bathroom door

"Mama, I filled it up!"

"Papa got it!"

"Here I go!"

"Victory is mine!"

He went from sitting to pee, to aiming for cheerios and is now standing all by himself. And, he rushes in now saying "Mama I'm gonna go poo poos, don't come, I'll call you and show you after!"
He is now a peeing and pooping machine! My little man is growing up!

Pantry challenge

I'm gonna try this out. The Pantry Challenge:
Here are my before pictures.

As you can tell there is no rhyme or reason to my pantry or frig...they are a mess, just like the rest of my day :)

I haven't been to the store since last weekend (4 days ago). I know for a fact I'll have to go for milk and eggs soon but I will do my best to not by other items. Hopefully this will also help my kids in dealing with trying different things. I think they are getting too picky and spoiled!

Wish me luck.

Whoops! Forgot to tell the hubby!

He dropped by the store on the way home.

OK, it oficially starts NOW!

What we've been up to

Saturday we went to the St Patricks Day Parade at Balboa park. I only took one picture of the boys, and one of Maggie. sorry
A scary clown came to give the boys a sticker and blocked their view of the drums, what they had been waiting for the whole parade. Thank you but move it sister!

This is what Maggie thought of the parade

Maggie practicing sitting up

Then Sunday we went a BBQ with some friends

These boys just can't sit down!

Joaquin making sure every last crumb and drip of icecream is gone. This little boy just melts my heart!

Maggie getting better at sitting up, Job still props pillows all around here just incase

I started feeling under the weather on Tues but it was St Patty's day, So I cooked some green eggs, made a shamrock cake and was able to hang in there for some friends to come over and enjoy some corned beef and cabbage.

Job is doing well at potty training, still having the dreaded accidents but we are getting close. Diego is talking so much and is not far behind with the potty training too.

And today my baby girl is 6 months old!!!!! She's sitting up, rolling around, eating cereal...

and today she tried out her cool bath chair so she can splash it up with her brothers.

So, that's us in a nut shell.

Just cute

Maggie in the swing for the first time. I don't know why I've waited so long to put her in it, I kind of forgot it was there. She giggled the whole time.

And another Dance party, this time with all 3 kids.

Built in back scratchers

Running through the tunnel

Maggie's first encounter with our cat, Yes we have a cat. Buster and her hit it off really well.

All three waiting patiently while Mama finally had a chance to get ready to go.

Papa? Are you awake? Wow! You can hold Maggie and sleep at the same time?

Let me check?

Yep, he's out!

I just think my family is adorable!
