It seems that all my pictures of Maggie include Job...what can I say, he's in love. Plus if Diego's holding her or playing with her I can't walk away to get the camera!
"Maggie wanna play with me?"
"She said 'yes'"!
"Wanna go nite nite? Ok, lets pray first"

So I guess we don't see rain much here in San Diego, because today when it poured for about 10 minutes the boys were a bit confused. Diego kept saying "uh oh, bus all wet"(our van). Job just kept yelling "Look Mama!"
I'm exctied for the Fall to come so they can experience more seasonal changes.

While Papa screamed at the TV during football the boys painted outside. They are brothers but very different in their crafting skills!Diego immediatly ate the paint, Job made sure to keep his work area tidy. Can't wait for Maggie to paint too!
Thanks for the Tshirt smock Papa

My parents came into town the morning I went into labor and mom has been here since. Today she went home. It was awesome having them here. It was so helpful and gave Steve and I a chance to get things ready, oraganized, and also gave a little break every now and then. Although I never really took it easy after the birth it was nice to ask my mom to watch the boys for us or for her to offer to take them out each day. The boys were definetly not on their best behavior but I guess it's to be expected with all the change. They are really are toddlers now!
I was just thinking...we are on our own. It's the FIVE of us now :)
Monday will be my first official day by myself with the kids but I think we will do just fine. Maggie is such a good baby, Job has been doing great and is my little helper....and Diego...well, it'll get better I'm sure :)
Anyway, Thanks Mom and Randy for all your help, time, groceries, gas, coffees, babysitting, and love!

The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away;
may the name of the LORD be praised." Job 1:21
We have just celebrated the birth of our daughter Magdelena, and now we are so sad to have heard about the recent loss of our friend Kris.
Steve and Kris met over 12years ago and have remained good friends through all this time. Kris was at our wedding, at the dedications of our children, and recently joined us for Steve's 34th surprise birthday party. Without warning or notice he is now gone and we are left with the funny memories he left behind. His "Safety Dance" (dancing with his finger pointing out so you need safety goggles to be near him) will always be remembered and done at any dancing event and his smile will be etched in our minds forever! I know my husband is absolutley heart broken and saddened. He just keeps looking at me in disbelief, not sure what to say about it. He says he is just waiting to hear Kris call him and say "Whut up Steve?"...and almost tempted to call his phone to see if it's all really true.
We love you Kris and you all already so deeply missed! I'm thankful for your friendship with my husband and for being a part of our lives.

Diego and Maggie, getting to know eachother. Poor Diego is so interested but just can't seem to get the "gentle" part of it down. I was able to catch a couple pics of them together recently, without eye gouges and poking going on. He still has a runny nose so he's limited to kissing her on her feet but still sneaks one in on the top of her head. After holding Maggie he wanted to hold Grandpa too....

As many of you may know, Job absolutely loves the Sea Lion show at the Zoo. And thanks to their music selection, he now loves "Lets Get Loud" by Jennifer Lopez since it's the song they use in their show. So, when he say's "Lets listen to music" and we ask him what he wants to listen to....that's his request. Now Diego has also come to love it. These pictures were taken literally 5 minutes after Steve walked in the door from work. The most hilariuos part of it all....as the music is BLASTING and they are all dancing around the house Patrick, the mail man, walks up to our front door to deliver the mail. The boys yell out "mail man!" and Steve yells "What's up Patrick!" He just smiled and waved and went on his way as if it wasn't strange to see a grown man dancing with his two sons to J-Lo!. He must see some crazy things in his profession, but I'm sure this was a first for him. What I love is my husband could care less and was not embarrassed one bit.
And by the way, Steve does wear shirts...I just never seem to catch him in one! :)

We had a great time at the Padres game today...even though they lost. We took the trolley from Old Town and the boys loved it!
Job learned how to peel/eat peanuts and Diego learned that he likes lemons( from the very overpriced lemonade we bought).
Grandma Dorrie and Grandpa Randy went with us and helped take shifts at the kids park and running around after the boys. The boys got bobble head toothbrush holders too! I was hoping to go into labor...the stairs getting into the stadium nearly did it...but nothing so far.

to get a good picture of both the boys. Neither look at the camera at the same time or someones eyes are closed!
This was my attempt to get some "brotherly pictures" when we went to the Zoo today. I figured this would be our last time at the zoo, just us 3, before the baby comes. So they got to ride a couple animal rides and hang out a little longer. I'm drained and tired but it was a fun time and worth it! People seem to stare at us a little more these days...maybe it's my waddle?

My Belly cast at 39 1/2 weeks!
(you can find these at-home kits at The Baby Depot in Burlington coat factory or online at http://www.proudbody.com/index.jsp )
It suddenly dawned on me...I having a BABY!!!! I was making myself some potstickers, and putting the bag back in the freezer. The name of the brang was "Ling Ling"...I thought to myself, "what a cute nick name for someone...maybe a little girl, maybe MY little girl...but what if I'm having a boy? We still don't have a boys name picked out! Wait...I'm having a baby in a couple days!!!!"
I dont know you yet, but you've been with me for nine months. God has created you in my womb and you've been growing all this time, it is only a miracle that this is even possible!
He has already decided if you are a boy or girl and I still don't know! What will you look like? Will you look like your brothers, me, or your Papa? Will you be small or big? It's just amazing that in a matter of days we will find out! I will actually be holding you in my arms.
I've been so concerned with how the boys are doing (with me being pregnant and things being harder to do) and how they will do while we are away at the hospital, when you arrive, how they'll adjust to the change.I've been so pre-occupied with my aches and pains and tiredness that I haven't really been enjoying teh pregnancy. I've forgotten to take the time to soak it all in and realize...you are coming! We will have a little baby in our house soon, to stare at all day and love and to share.
I never pictured myself a Mama of three...let alone possibly a Mama of three boys! Will I be? Or will we be welcoming our first daughter, pink and purple, dolls and bows?
Either way, You will be perfect. Our perfect baby that we will love and adore no matter what.
I can't wait to meet you and to introduce you to your new family!!
Love, your Mama
